Challenge
The team behind Pirate Nation set out to reinvent online gaming—this time onchain. Built by veterans of titles like FarmVille, Proof of Play wanted to deliver a whimsical, high-quality role-playing game where the underlying tech fades into the background. To succeed, they needed infrastructure that could onboard mainstream players instantly, without requiring wallets, extensions, or knowledge of crypto.

Challenge
Crypto: The Game needed to create a seamless, immersive onchain experience for hundreds of players competing in a 10-day survival game—without the friction of seed phrases, wallet popups, or crypto know-how. As gameplay evolved to include NFT-based entries and trading, UX had to stay smooth, fast, and secure.
Solution
CTG used Privy to power its embedded wallet experience, enabling players to onboard with Twitter, securely manage wallets in-app, and interact onchain without ever leaving the game. With Privy, Season 2 introduced mintable NFTs and tradable game entries—delivering next-level gameplay while keeping crypto invisible.
