KAST is building a global money app that brings together traditional finance and digital assets. With over a million users, KAST enables individuals and businesses to hold dollar-denominated balances, transfer money to more than 170 countries, and spend globally.

With the launch of Asset Account Convert, KAST users can now buy, sell, and swap more than 30 supported digital assets on Solana, including 24 tokenized US equities and ETFs. This gives users access to tokenized products offering exposure to companies like Nvidia, Tesla, and Apple, as well as ETFs tracking the S&P 500 and Nasdaq-100, without leaving the KAST app.

Bringing digital assets and everyday spending together

Managing digital assets alongside everyday finances has traditionally meant navigating separate exchanges, wallets, and financial applications. KAST brings these experiences together in one place.

Through Asset Account Convert, members can use their spending balance to purchase supported digital assets, convert those assets back into their spending balance, or swap between assets directly within the app. KAST covers network gas fees, while users can review exchange rates and fees before confirming a conversion.

With Privy's non-custodial wallet infrastructure, users retain control over their digital assets and authorize transactions from their own wallets, without needing to navigate external applications or manage the underlying blockchain infrastructure.

Self-custody without the complexity

Behind this experience is Privy's self-custodial wallet infrastructure.

Each KAST member can hold and manage supported digital assets in their own self-custodial wallet, with full control over their funds. Users authorize transactions themselves, while KAST provides a seamless interface for managing assets alongside their everyday spending balance.

For KAST, self-custody is also fundamental to building a truly global financial application. Rather than relying exclusively on traditional financial intermediaries to hold and move assets, KAST can give users direct access to onchain financial products through a single application.

With Privy, KAST can deliver this experience without requiring users to manage seed phrases, navigate external wallets, or understand the underlying blockchain infrastructure.

A global financial app for money and assets

For KAST, self-custody is more than a way to give users ownership of their assets. It also provides the foundation for building financial products that can reach users across borders.

By enabling users to hold assets directly in their own wallets, KAST can offer access to onchain financial products without taking custody of those assets or relying exclusively on traditional financial intermediaries. This allows KAST to expand its offering beyond payments and transfers to include tokenized equities and other digital assets.

Privy makes this possible without compromising the user experience. Wallets are integrated directly into KAST, allowing users to interact with onchain assets through the same familiar interface they use to manage their money.

As KAST expands support for additional assets and blockchain networks, Privy provides the wallet infrastructure to support its growing suite of financial products.
